Timothy J. Rodes draws on his extensive federal judiciary experience and cross-jurisdictional practice expertise. Over the course of five years, Tim held clerkships and staff attorney positions at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Eastern District of California, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. His experience spans all stages of Federal civil litigation, with a particular focus on complex and international commercial disputes in Federal Courts.

With a focus on Federal Court practice, Tim has significant experience in legal research and pleadings and Federal Court trials support. He has also worked extensively in cross-border customs and trade law, assisting international and domestic businesses with tariff classifications, customs valuations, and country of origin determinations. Tim’s experience covers pre-trial, trial, and appellate work, spanning a wide range of commercial disputes in State and Federal courts.

Tim graduated ranked second in his class in law school, and, in addition to his J.D., holds an LL.M. in Democratic Governance and Rule of Law. This degree focused on international legal systems and supports his expertise in cross-border disputes and litigation. He is admitted to practice in Alaska, Hawai’i, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Washington State.
